Presthaven is a great place to stay with children. Easy to get to the holiday park offers lots of amenities to keep the children entertained. Food is quite good but at busy times there can be a while to wait before being served. Accomodation is fine though quite basic.

The park is in handy reach of great places to visit; Llandudno, Colwyn Bay and the stunning Snowdonia National Park are great trips out.

The endless sands and beach are great for paddling, building sandcastles or just relaxing.

Friendly staff and helpful assistants make this a great place to visit.

Hi all, myself and my husband and our 4 children have recently got back from a 4 day break at presthaven sands from the 15th april 2011..After reading reveiws prior to arriving i was very worried regarding what i had been reading and thought we was going to have a bad holiday,,. upon arrival the staff was very friendly other then finding the caravan there was no check in problems…we booked a superiour caravan for 8 people and that was what we got.. we got what we paid for.. it was clean well presented and beds made up on arrival with a lovely view near the sand dunes and beach.. we visited the fun works arcade sevral times and also the fair sevral times… the swimming pool was brilliant the children enjoyed themselves splashing around and having fun.. the spar shop is a little dear on some things but other than the odd stuff i would say reasonably priced.. we stayed on site most days as we dont have a car..the only thing we did not do on site was eat in mash and barrel for no reason other then there was just too much to do on site and we bought food from the shop.. this is a brilliant family holiday site and we loved it so much that we have already booked our august summer holiday 2011 with presthaven and also our april 2012 holiday with them aswell.. i go on holiday to spend time with family and friends and this is what presthaven sands lets you do..

We stayed at Presthaven |Sands this year from 29th April to 6th May and was truly dissapointed as there was not enough Entertainment geared at the children unless you count the Arcade which cost a fortune and only paid out Tickets which could be redeeemed for inferior gifts if you got enough. The pool was cloudy and had bits floating and the Mini golf was Extortionate at £12.00 for 2 Adults and 1 Child we tried 3 Breakfasts which were all under cooked and nearly cold. I was dissapointed because i took my children when they were smaller and they had great fun but this year with the Grandaughter we were glad when it ended we could of gone Abroad for what 1 week cost us here.

brilliant haven park, we spent a one week summer holiday in presthaven sands in july and we enjoyed every minute. Please do not read all the crappy reviews!
I could not fault the park or the accomodation. We stayed in deluxe caravan in beaumaris 3 next to the railway line and we did not find it noisy. Kids enjoyed all the activities laid on and we found the fun stars and helpers very good with the kids. The playground area is beautiful and obviously very new. Our kids are 6 and 4. The pool area was very busy but that is to be expected. Beautiful carvery up the road called the Bells of St Marys and very cheap.
Standard of accomodation reached way beyond our expectations! Brilliant family holday.

i think there should be a bar that can be used during the day, rather than sitting in what i would call a large cafe with kids running round, and also have live sport on
