Les Menhirs holiday park in Carnac, Southern Brittany carries a 4-star rating and has just about everything required for a perfect family holiday. Situated in the gorgeous Southern Brittany, Les Menhirs offers no less than 5 swimming pools complete with waterslide, whirlpool and sauna with activities ranging from quizzes to concerts. Sports include two tennis courts and facilities for basketball, volleyball, football, table tennis, a gymnasium, and if that doesn’t tire you out, pony rides are available too.
The nearest beach (carnac plage) only 300 metres away also offers endless entertainment including boat trips, sailing, sea fishing, karting, water skiing, scuba diving, motor boats, windsurfing and much more, not forgetting buckets and spades of course! Whilst at Les Menhirs, there are other fantastic family outings to take advantage of such as Aquarium de Vannes – 50 tanks of various aqua species or other nature based adventures such as Parc de Branfere – 35 hectares of animal and bird park. If its history you’re after Eurocamp and Les Menhirs, Carnac offers you a 13th century moated fortress in Chateau de Suscinio or Abbaye Saint Anne de Kergonan, a Benedictine Abbey founded in 1897. If you’ve no blisters by then, there’s also two museums to spend hours walking round in the Musee National de la Marine and Musee de Prehistoire de Carnac.
Les Menhirs offers 350 pitches and a choice of 2/3 bedroom mobile homes. Closest airports are Nantes (145km) and Dinard (165km). Enjoy the luxury and comfort of Les Menhirs and bring your dogs too!
