I took my 6 year old Grandson for a week here during School Holidays. The caravan was really nice…however although there was a fire in the living room there were no radiators and we ended up sleeping in the living room as we were freezing.
The Kids entertainment was strange. Really impressive characters, but their performances on stage were with American accents and on the last night we were there (April) there was their Christmas Show…with them ending up hoping all the children had a good Christmas.
However, we found plenty to do. Take lots of cash as you will need it to do everything. My grandson had broken his arm the week before and there wasn’t much he could do…but if he was ‘two-armed’ he would have done loads more.
The biggest area is the slot machines place and people were feeding them constantly.
The food to buy was reasonable and nice though.
All in all…we enjoyed it and we will go again…and hope he managed not to break anything before next time!!!

I take my son every year to a haven park. My favourite one of all is Littlesea in Weymouth. There are so many fantastic qualities to Haven. You can hire a caravan or on most sites can take your own tent or caravan. The kids clubs are great and keep the children occupied for hours. Football, archery, crafts etc. At night you have the nightclubs. There is also a club aimed at children and families where the staff put on fun shows that keep adults and children alike amused. Entertainment is all inclusive with the cost of your holiday. You do have to pay for certain extra options such as some sporting activities and of course the addictive arcades. All camps have laundry facilities and lots of places to eat that give a good variety of tastes and atmospheres. A lot of parks accepts dogs and the whole feel of the parks shouts ‘family’ and ‘fun’. The caravans themselves come in all sizes and so although some would say it could be cheaper to go abroad ‘caravan hire can go to around £800 in the summer holidays’ you have to bear in mind that it is per caravan as opposed to per person which can work out much dearer in some other holiday parks. I can’t say enough about Haven. If you’re looking for family fun, in great surroundings, with entertainment for the kids and adults alike, Haven is the place for you!

We stayed in Croyde Bay and it was excellent the staff were lovely and really made a fuss of my youngest who had her 3rd Birthday when we stayed back in April, she still goes on about Seany Boy and Lizzie and her Birthday, Thanks Haven :-)

stayed at Marton Mere for a week there at the start of August and couldn’t recommend it enough. Caravan was clean, but we had to clean behind the fridge as there was sour milk and food behind it. The first few nights we though there was heavy rain as the noise on the roof of the mobile was terrible. Discovered it was the tree behind the caravan so they cut the branches and we got to sleep. Entertainment in the park good but the food can be quite expensive. The funstars were great, Can’t wait to go back.

Stayed at Haggerston in April 2010. Caravan was a disgrace. [meant to be top-of-the-range] We didnt really notice how dirty it was until the second day as we had been out an awful lot due to the great weather; Even after complaining to management [who offered to send cleaners up, should have been clean to begin with] we still had to put up with a filthy cooker and cooking utensils, and ground-works being carried out right outside our caravan for the whole three days.. Sent e-mails back and forward upon returning home, but was basically told “tough, you had your holiday, should have noticed earlier”!. Place overall was a mess, dining room was filthy, main cabaret hall was a smelly dump, drink was expensive and vile, [cheap coke, watery lemonade and flat beer] food was terrible [made the mistake of having "lunch" on arrival].And this was at the START of the season! I Wouldnt send my dog for a break to Haggerston. Book a holiday at this slum at your peril!!!!

Hi there. Stayed at Hopton .[link removed]…found the park to be a fab place. The Sunday Roast spectacular. Only complain was the service was so s..l..o..w!! Apart from that the golf course, swimming pool and the general landscaping very restful and pleasing to the eye. The weather was very good so that always helps.
