Center Parcs in Elveden Forest has got to be one of the most entertaining places to stay in the UK. If your looking for a holiday in the UK then Elvden Forest might be the place just for you! The accommodation at Elveden forest is very modern but still all have a homely feel to them, they are rather large and fully equipped with everything that you’ll need for your holiday.
The entire park was refurbished to an extremely high standard in 2003 and now includes a number of new facilities that you’ll be able to use on your visit there. At Elveden Forest there are things to do for everyone, relaxing spa’s for adults, golf and long walks. There are fun activities and sports available for children of all ages.
The forest is huge with over 89 apartments and a wopping 737 villas available, add this to the fact that Center Pacs is at full occupancy 95% of the year and you’ll soon realise that this is a very popular place for family holidays and for good reason!
You’ll find so many different activities here and there is almost always some special events on. No family could get bored here. Some of the activities available include a huge subtropical swimming paradise (must see!), you can do horse riding, go for a bike ride through the forest, sailing on a little boat, swimming, a range of sports and even cannoning. When you first arrive in Elveden Forest you’ll be surprised at what is available to do while you stay here.
Throughout your holiday here you’ll be able to remain totally relaxed about taking your children, everything in the park has been designed with safety in mind, you’ll even find an OFSTED registered club where you can leave your children for 2-3 hours while qualified nursery nurses look after them. This will give you some time to spend in Elveden Forest spa or go for a round of golf on the simulator. Relaxation time will be over once the kids are back!
The forest is set in beautiful part of the country, just 8km from Thetford in Suffolk it’s both easy to get here and unsurprisingly in a very nice location. It’s hassle free to get here by just driving along the A11, when you get close to Thetford the way will be signposted. Travelling by train is very easy too, the nearest station, Thetford, is easily accessible from most parts of the UK is just 5 miles away from Elveden Forest.

Last year me my friends stayed in one of the Maple villa we enjoyed our selfs,but I was let down with the windows in the bedrooms could,nt shut them cold and wet was comming through so we had to stuff them out with newspaper.We are comming again this year end of Nov to beginning of Dec if they are like it again will have to complain about it.
Elveden was a great place to take a long weekend break. The only thing I would recommend is that you book your events at the same time as your accommodation as everything will be booked solid by the time you get there. We had a couple of hours gap between tennis and bowling and there was nothing to do except enjoy a coffee and rocky road biscuit at Starbucks!
The supermarket was a bit more expensive than your normal shopping but that was to be expected. Stock up before you get there and you also save a trip to the shops. The accommodation was excellent and much better than the holiday home experience that you get from Butlins / Haven etc.
The car free envirnoment is great for the kids as they can cycle in relative safety but you do get some older kids trying to see how fast they can get around the park. No land train at Elveden but its nice and falt unlike Longleat.
